Welcome! My name is Sebbe Lecocq, and I am a driven chemical engineer with a passion for process optimization and digitalization. With more than 13 years of experience in the process industry, I specialized as a process/production engineer and later as a process control engineer.
Since 2023, I have founded my own company, in which I combine my areas of interest. In addition to process control, I also rent Lego sets on BrickwiseI sell Lego sets and parts on Bricklink and, together with my wife, I make and sell handmade items and Lego bow ties via Studio PiBel.
My professional journey started with a strong academic background in chemical engineering, which laid the foundation for my expertise in understanding complex processes and systems. As a process engineer, I have tackled various challenges and implemented solutions that have contributed to more efficient production processes and improved product quality.
In the role of process control engineer I have developed in-depth knowledge in the field of control loops. My skills include monitoring, devising and optimizing control loops and rationalizing alarms. I also have extensive experience in process monitoring, as well as implementing advanced process control (APC). My goal has always been to make the system work for people and not the other way around!
One of my strengths is contributing to the digitalization of companies. In an era where technological progress is central, I strongly believe in the importance of embracing digital solutions to streamline processes, increase efficiency and strengthen competitiveness. I have successfully contributed to projects for the implementation of advanced digital solutions and am always looking for innovative ways to help companies with their digital transformation.
